The value, care and education given to children is the determinant of the healthy, successful, productive and creative individuals of the future. The quality of the relationship of children with their parents, other family members and their close environment has a great impact on child development. Thus, children experience trauma through adults and they learn how to cope with it from their parents and close environment. Therefore, we provide trainings;

  • To raise awareness of parents, other individuals and institutions responsible for the children and professionals  
  • To reintegrate traumatised children and young, families, schools and social environment into society and to empower them.

Preventive Trainings consists of five sessions including:

  • Signs of Psychological Trauma in Developmental Perspective
  • Secure Attachment
  • Child and Grief
  • The Effect of Parents’ Attitudes on Psychological Trauma
  • Strategies for Coping with Psychological Trauma
  • Raising Resilient Children
  • Understanding Children and Adolescents

Preventive Trainings consists of five sessions including: 

Supportive Trainings:

These trainings include basic information on psychological trauma oriented to traumatised children’s parents and, in case of need, oriented to positive support for children.

Mentor Mom Trainings:

Mentor mom consultancy system is a system that will go into effect after the families of traumatized children who couldn’t get any psychological help and couldn’t afford psychotherapy in deed, are trained and after the children start to receive psychological support. Under favour of this system, the follow-up of the children will be realised by mentor moms trained by our foundation.  

To become a mentor mom, one must complete 40-hours of basic training program including subjects such as child development, behaviour modification techniques, parent attitudes, skills to play with children and a variety of activities
