Youth Commission

Volunteer for the Youth Commission

The Youth Commission is a dynamic community composed of university students. This commission aims to support the personal and academic development of young people, as well as to enable them to take an active role in the field with a sense of social responsibility. Young people participating in the commission improve themselves through training programs organized by our foundation, while also contributing to our projects and children through volunteer work in the field.

Members of the Youth Commission conduct academic and play-based support activities, particularly for children who have experienced trauma. They help children develop in a safe, supportive, and joyful environment. In addition, they contribute to the success of various social organizations by taking part in them, and gain experience in volunteering and teamwork. The projects we carry out with young people create spaces where they can showcase their productivity, develop their creativity, and make lasting contributions to society. In this process, young people are not only supporters but also active stakeholders who generate ideas and play a role in the design of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To lead the way in creating an environment that respects children's rights.
  • To strengthen children's views and participation, and to ensure that this participation becomes visible in the media and society.
  • To develop and implement projects addressing children's needs.
  • To actively support the Foundation's Board of Directors' projects that require child participation.
  • To provide academic and play support to children in the field, especially those who are disadvantaged and have experienced trauma.
  • To provide volunteer support in the organizations run by the Foundation.
  • To contribute new elements to the Foundation's mission with the energy and creativity of young people.

The Youth Commission is, on the one hand, a learning space where young people discover their potential, and on the other hand, a space of responsibility where they become part of social change by touching the lives of children.

These young people, who volunteered for four years during the early years of our foundation, were the driving force behind our first steps. Today, they are continuing their education in various countries around the world.
